Tyler Christopher, an Emmy Award-winning actor known for his roles in “General Hospital” and “Days of Our Lives,” talked about his most recent movies and revealed his plans for the future.

Anyone Murder?
Christopher played the role of Richard in James Cullen Bressack’s “Murder. Anyone?” which was a “colorful” part. He described the experience as “fun” noting that it was “interesting” and a “satire” unlike what he was used to. He commended the other actors, saying “the guys were great”.

Griffin, played by him. Stars in Jared Cohn’s movies “20.0 Megaquake,” “Super Volcano,” and “Ice Storm.” He remarked that the experience is challenging due to the abundance of dialogue to be memorized in a short time frame
“That is hard work because they go so fast. It was tough because there was a lot of dialogue in a very short amount of time so I had to turn my brain on.”
Plans For The Future
Christopher shared his plans, saying. “I’m still auditioning and taking it one day at a time. My kids are doing well and they have caught the acting bug. My daughter recently performed in ‘The Nutcracker’ and it was great to see her on stage. And my son acted in a play too.”
Unfortunately, the actor experienced COVID twice during the pandemic. Leaving no positive outcome for him.
Celebrating 60 Years of ‘General Hospital
Christopher is astonished by the fact that “General Hospital” is celebrating its 60th anniversary on the air. As he was a part of the show for 20 years. Having originated the role of Nikolas Cassadine. Wow, 60 years, I hardly believe it, he exclaimed.
Christopher recalled his initial experience on the set of “General Hospital” as a defining moment in his career. He was nervous, he said, as it was his first acting job and he had a lot of lines to learn. Despite his apprehension,
However, he was ready and was able to successfully make it through the first day. Ultimately, he concluded, it was a great experience.
Mental Health Podcast ‘MB State of Mind’
Christopher had a remarkable experience when he appeared on Maurice Benard’s “MB State of Mind” podcast to discuss topics relating to mental health, such as alcoholism, his traumatic brain injury, his brief period of homelessness, and how he now chooses to live life to the fullest.
He expressed pride, saying “I was raw and vulnerable” to be on the show, adding that Maurice “does a really good job” and has had great guests. He then foreshadowed that he would appear again, saying “Maurice is going to have me back again.”
The Days of Our Lives
Christopher’s acclaimed performance as Stefan DiMera in “Days of Our Lives,” which now streams on Peacock, earned him an Emmy nomination for “Outstanding Lead Actor in a Drama Series” in 2019. In addition to his work on “General Hospital,” Christopher has become well-known for his portrayal of Stefan.
He was asked to pick between Nicholas from “General Hospital” and Stefan from “Days of Our Lives”, to which he responded, “I’m going to have to stick with Nicholas. After all, I created him.”
